Honorarkonsule bei Gerber Spitzen & Stickereien
For the first time honorary consuls of the Free State of Saxony met for a visit in the area Vogtland. The diplomats of the representations of Macedonia, USA Austria, South Africa, Sweden, Czech Republik, Ukraine, Switzerland and further industry partners visited the company Gerber Spitzen & Stickereien in Rebesgrün.

In the presence of representatives of the press and regional TV programmes Mr. Ulrich Gerber introduced the current collection to his guests. The diplomats observed the explanations for the directions of the company for the future. In cooperation with other partners they are developing and testing classical embroidery technologies for technical application areas.

In his lecture the manager of Gerber Spitzen & Stickereien told about the problems in the fight against plagiarisms in the textile industry. Global successful business activity does not hold only in high esteem. Especially from Asia the market is flooded with forgeries for dumping prices again and again.

After the tour of the factory the diplomats went to Wohlbach and Bad Elster.
